Charcoal grilled chicken skewers and the chicken soulvaki sandwiches are delicious, juicy, tender, and dipped in lemon juice upon request. Small stand, nice people, great food. Highly recommended. I have been there twice, and my two kids and I left very happy both times.

Pork souvlaki is banging. This is only my 2nd time here and the pork is tender and flavorful; I once came on a Sunday and it was closed, so I'm glad I caught them today. You can smell them before you turn the corner. Really like it with lemon and oregano. It's $4 a pop and comes with a piece of bread. The service is quick and efficient. There are chairs on the sidewalk for you to enjoy the freshly made souvlaki.

Some of the Best Greek souvlaki in Astoria old school Astoria style on the charcoal like I remember when I was a kid going to Astoria can smell the aroma down the block

First time here and came in handy on that corner! The chicken was good but left a little too long on the grill...I don't like to eat chicken with grill taste on it. Service was good... Christo made sure all customers were seen and got all orders correct. He also had an assistant that handles the cash and help putting the condiments. What I also didn't like was seeing the assistant drop one piece of my chicken and it fell on the side of the grill & he put it right back! That part of the stick broke and I almost could have chewed the stick because of the piece that fell off. Besides that I would def like to come here again.

Fast, fresh and absolutely delicious. Christos is a super friendly guy that loves his job and customers.

Quick & friendly service! I always recommend Christos - 10/10 Best Souvlaki in all of Astoria. The End.

seasoned never burnt, just the best juicy and tasty stick. Very friendly guys - always busy getting the job done. 2 stick's for thaprice is just a deal you can't beat

If you smell some scrumptious smoke near the Ditmars stop, it's probably from the Christos souvlaki stand. I didn't spot anything resembling a posted menu so I just requested a pork skewer from one of the guys which I found out was $4 and came with chunks of sesame seed bread. It looks like skewers are the only thing Christos sells. A handful of hungry patrons were waiting but my skewer was ready in no time. Said skewer was placed in one of those foil-lined bags along with the foil-wrapped bread, all in a plastic bag. The pork pieces were very good--quality protein on the go! I suggest saying yes to the lemon and salt. I'll have to echo Chi C.; I passed the corner on a Sunday as well and didn't see the stand. So just to be sure, don't plan to go on a Sunday if you want your souvlaki?

Christos is one of the top souvlaki vendors in the city. Always working hard and fast to get your order ready and delicious as always. As an awesome keto option, ask for pork souvlaki over lettuce and topped with lemon, salt, prey and tzaztiki!
